Baler Operator - South Kirkby, Wakefield
£31,683.60 per annum
3 Shift Pattern – 06:00–15:30 / 09:00–18:30 / 12:30–22:00
Key Responsibilities:
• Assists in the delivery of a safe operation within operational areas
• Ensure all mobile plant is maintained to manufacturers recommendation
• Follow all risk assessments and safe operating procedure that are relevant to the post
• Comply with and actively participate in company standards, procedures, environmental and quality systems.
• Ensure the baler is operating effectively
• Ensure all loads leaving are loaded to maximise weights.
• Control traffic flows are managed to ensure a safe operation

• Keep all equipment clean and maintained to ensure a safe working environment
•Ensure baler hall activities are safe and efficient to maximise productivity
Essential Criteria
• Previous experience operating mobile plant vehicles
• Nationally recognised training certificates for operating Mobile plant - Telehandler
• Basic understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to forward plan making best use of time.
