Job Description

This position is based at our South Peak Wind Farm in Geyser Montana, where Innovation meets the Wild. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains roadways, collector lines, buildings, fences, and other balance of plant duties for the assets on site.
  • Completes quality checks on turbine maintenance and repairs performed by service provider.
  • Operate heavy equipment to clear snow from roadways
  • Operate, maintain and manage road maintenance equipment, utility truck and related tools.
  • Performs high and medium voltage switching to isolate turbines and electric feeder circuits
  • Attends regular safety meetings and follows appropriate company safety and environmental policies.
  • Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and adheres to quality guidelines.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Four years or more technical wind industry experience, OR in absence of technical wind industry experience, six years or more experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Heavy equipment operations (i.e. Loader, Grader, Tractor, Manlift) experience.
  • This role requires working outside in all types of weather conditions at heights of 300 feet.
  • Must have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and tools.
  • Able to use personal computers (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SCADA systems) required.
  • First aid, CPR, AED, forklift certification, and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $26.90 - $33.20. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
