Job Description
Direct daily production and ensure accuracy, quality and consistency of Bakery products
Follow company sales and production planning standards and ensure the Bakery achieves the standard of porformance as outlined in the work plan.
Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies
and procedures. Oversees and maintains safety and sanitary standards in production area's according to health standards.
Plan and order according to work plan and standards to maximize sales and gross profit.
Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of Bakery products.
Managing department inventory: In-stock position, Pricing-integrity, Merchandising
Ensure other operational processes meet company standards.
Interviewing potential staff
Scheduling stall
Assigning tasks to staff and following-up on results
Coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.
Planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar position
Qualifications as a Baker
Strong knowledge of food safety systems (e.g. HACCP), WHS compliance, and retail best practices.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and cross-functional departments.
Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, sales, and operational KPIs.
Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to leadership.
Flexibility to travel across sites and work varied hours (including a night shilt) as required.
