Salary/Position Classification
- $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Will assist baker with daily production.
- Help with cookie, bread and donuts, muffin and dessert production.
- Pan up product, scale recipes and set-up carts for next day.
- Maintain sanitation standards;
- Help maintain storeroom
- Follows proper handling and storage procedures in the serving and holding of food.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment correctly
- Washes dishes
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to stand for 3–4 hours
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen
- Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.
