Pay range $27 to $33 per hour, depending on experience

Join our bakery team on the beautiful West Coast and help shape the future of one of Hokitika’s busiest fresh departments.

We’re looking for two motivated Bakers to join the team at New World Hokitika. These are hands-on roles suited to people who take pride in quality, enjoy working as part of a strong team, and want to be part of a store that is continuing to grow and improve.

For the right person, there is also an opportunity to develop into a leadership role within the department over time.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous bakery experience in a supermarket, retail, or commercial bakery environment
• Trade qualification or formal bakery training preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
• Strong attention to quality, presentation, food safety, and consistency
• Someone who works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a team
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Experience with production planning, ordering, and leading a team would be an advantage
• Leadership potential or experience would be an advantage for one of the positions
