About the role:

TheBakeris responsible forproducing a variety of artisan breads andassistingwith production in the pastry kitchen.Collaboration witha team of bread bakers, pastry cooks, and kitchen cooks is essentialThe kitchen embodies all Four Seasons cultures while upholding established standards,demonstratingthe professionalism expected in any high-level kitchen or hospitality environment.Positions range fromBakerI toBakerII and aredeterminedduring the interview process.This role reports to the Executive Pastry Chef and is overseen by the Hotel’s Executive Chef.

What you will do:

  • Food Safety: Ensuring food is safe to eat by following proper storage, sanitation, and allergy guidelines, as well as labeling and dating procedures

  • Preparation:Strictly adhering to recipe specifications to ensure correctportionsizes and cooking methods are followed

  • Kitchen Maintenance: Cleaning food preparation areas, sweeping floors,and sanitizing surfaces.

  • Stock Management: Monitoring prep stock levels to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards

  • Communication/Teamwork: Collaborating with team members tomaintain a professional atmosphere and ensure orders are served promptly

What you bring:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingstrong attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques that support food safety/sanitation guidelines.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • At least one year of experience as a Baker specializing in bread production.

  • Culinary/Pastry Degree or Certificate is a plus

Schedule & Hours:

  • This is a full-time position

  • The working hours will primarily be Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00am-1:00pm​
