We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Backhoe Operator to operate backhoe loaders and related heavy equipment for excavation, trenching, and material handling tasks at the project site. The operator will ensure that all operations are performed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety and project standards.
Operate backhoe loaders to perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling as per site requirements.
Load and unload materials, dig trenches, and prepare work areas for construction activities.
Conduct pre-operation checks and ensure the backhoe is in good working condition.
Follow work instructions from the site supervisor or foreman and perform tasks as per the project plan.
Maintain daily inspection and activity logs for the assigned equipment.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Report any equipment faults, damages, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Assist with minor maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of the machine when required.
Operate in confined areas and around other workers with a high level of safety awareness.
Valid Qatar Heavy Equipment Operator License (for Backhoe).
Minimum 3 years of experience operating backhoes in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of earthworks, excavation, and ground compaction techniques.
Basic mechanical understanding of heavy equipment.
Ability to interpret site drawings and follow precise instructions.
Physically fit and safety-focused individual.
Excellent operating and maneuvering skills.
Strong understanding of site safety and hazard awareness.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
