We're hiring a Backend Tech Lead who combines strong technical depth with the ability to guide, mentor, and elevate a team. You’ll lead backend development efforts, drive architectural decisions, and help the team navigate complexity with confidence. You’ll also bring a genuine curiosity for AI and a passion for building systems that are robust, testable, and future‑ready. This is a 100% remote role (must be located in the US), full-time with competitive salary, bonus, 401K, and more.

What You’ll Do

• Lead backend engineering efforts across design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Break down complex technical challenges into clear, actionable work for the team.

• Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to understand the why behind what we build.
• Drive best practices in test automation, code quality, and system reliability.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers of varying experience levels.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long‑term technical strategy.
• Explore and integrate AI‑driven capabilities where they add meaningful value.

• C# experience — nice to have, not required.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud services, and backend architecture.
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and make sound technical decisions.
