Reporting to Backend Engineering Manager, you as a Sr. Backend Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting process development, improving manufacturing performance and ensuring robust process control across production activities.

About the Job

  • Drive process improvement projects to enhance yield, quality, cost and delivery through material, process, equipment and package optimization
  • Establish and maintain robust process control systems (FMEA, control plan, SOP, GR&R, SPC, visual management) for both new products and existing processes
  • Support daily engineering activities, including project tracking, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of engineering capabilities
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions for internal/external issues (e.g. customer complaints, production abnormalities, outsourcing processes)
  • Collaborate with EHS and related functions to improve workplace health and safety

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Physics or related engineering fields
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor backend processes (e.g. Dicing, Die Attach), experience with ASM/DISCO/3S/HOSON equipment preferred;1. More than 6yrs wafer sawing or soldering process engineer experience
  • Experience in new product/package development or improvement of assembly structures based on customer requirements
  • Familiar with automotive quality systems (IATF16949, AEC-Q101) and NPI processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in tools such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D
  • Experience in project management or leading process improvement initiatives preferred; More than 2yrs management experience prefer.
  • Basic English communication requirement include listening, speaking, reading and writing
  • Proficient in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and engineering software (e.g. Minitab, AutoCAD)
  • Green Belt is a must, Black Belt preferred
