About the team

The team is part of one of the largest strategic transformations in the company’s history, building innovative solutions for more than 4 million customers. Operating within the Billing & Collections domain, the team works on scalable, customer-focused products and services while collaborating closely with neighbouring domains such as Payments and Energy Trading. Based across Lithuania and the UK, team members work in a highly collaborative environment, combining product, engineering, and business expertise to deliver the company’s future technology platform.

What You’ll be doing

As a Backend Engineer, you will develop and scale API-first services that support our target architecture. Working closely with Product and Engineering teams, you'll build customer-facing solutions using TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, while leveraging cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Backend engineering experience essential
• Knowledge of TypeScript and Node
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and technologies, including microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Passion for product and user experience, along with strong commercial thinking.
• A strong desire to make an impact and take ownership early in the process.
• An eye for designing resilient and scalable solutions.
• Attention to detail with a focus on security.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English language
