Are you a Backend Software Engineer with a keen interest in everything Web3 and how this can be applied to iGaming? Then this is the role for you! We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us in the beginning of our journey to bring new and innovative iGaming products and brands to the market, leveraging the exciting possibilities provided by Web3 concepts and technologies.

The Wow

As s Backend Developer you will be responsible for the server-side code and APIs of our web applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience.

A taster of what you will be involved with

• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, development testing, code reviews and deploying software
• Maintenance and improving of existing software
• Designing code, unit tests
• Managing SQL and NoSQL data models

What we are looking for

• 5+ years as a backend developer
• 5+ years of developing backend systems, preferably in .NET/C# with knowledge in ASP.NET Web API
• Proficiency in SQL Server or Postgres; both in writing queries and tuning performance
• Experience with blockchain integrations
• Experience in design and implementation of distributed and multi-tier systems, understanding SOA principles and service oriented environments (multiple services, multiple machines)
• Knowledge in automated testing and continuous integration
• Use of agile/lean methodologies for continuous delivery and improvement
• Experience of coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
• Confident in both written and spoken English

Extra awesome if you have:

• NoSQL databases (Couchbase)
• CRM Systems
• NET Core
• Knowledge in HTML 5, CSS, JS, jQuery and/or JavaScript frameworks
• Distributed microservice-based architectures
• We don’t expect you to be an expert in all of these technologies but would anticipate experience with some combined with a curiosity for others: Docker, Consul, etcD, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
