We are growing our R&D center, and we are looking for Backend Lead Developer (Java/Kotlin) to join our team:

• Work as part of a small agile development team, under the  global development department
• Use advanced technologies and tools such as  Java/Kotlin, Spring, Docker/Kubernetes, OpenAI, paid AI development tools

Responsibilities

• Lead task breakdown and architecture design for new features.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions using industry-standard tools.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other Lead Developers on product architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 4+ years of development experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience using Hibernate, jOOQ, or a similar framework.
• Hands-on experience with async service architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar products.
• Good understanding of security flows in service architectures using OAuth, SAML, or similar protocols.
• Familiarity with Scrum and an Agile development environment and tools like Jira.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to author technical specifications and lead architecture discussions.

Advantages

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead, with a track record of driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineers.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM/AI APIs into production backend services, or active use of AI tools such as Claude in an engineering workflow.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and enterprise customer environments.
• Experience with knowledge management, search, or content delivery systems
