In this role, you’ll join a fast-growing, BaFin-licensed digital financial infrastructure provider building a unified platform for trading, custody, and management of traditional and digital assets. Based in our Warsaw engineering hub, you’ll work in a hybrid setup with regular in-person collaboration, contributing to scalable, high-impact financial systems used by banks, wealth managers, neobrokers, and fintechs across Europe. You’ll have real ownership over your work, helping shape robust products in a professional yet relaxed environment.

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and maintain backend services powering regulated financial products
• Work across multiple projects — from building new and maintaining existing Python-based solutions to building new services in Go or Rust
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform (AWS, Azure, On-Prem)
• Build integrations with external financial services, tackling real-world challenges around asynchronous processing and data synchronization
• Take ownership of delivering high-quality, production-ready systems in a highly regulated fintech environment
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully — we embrace them but never at the cost of security or quality

Deine Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen

• Experience in manual and automated testing across APIs, web applications, and mobile apps.
• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach — in fintech, the details matter!
• Ability to quickly understand complex business domains and translate requirements into thorough test strategies.
• Strong communication skills — you'll work with developers, business analysts, and external clients.
• A proactive mindset — our QA engineers are not just testers, they're active participants in shaping the product.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt — you'll ramp up quickly on trading markets, financial regulations, and platform-specific knowledge.

Nice to have

• Solid experience with "Python"
• Openness and willingness to work with "Go" and/or "Rust" — you don't need to be an expert, but curiosity matters
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts — event-driven architectures, message queues, eventual consistency
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a team
• Comfort operating in a regulated environment where quality and reliability are non-negotiable
