As a Senior Node.js engineer, you will be responsible for the development of our high performance (Advertising & Marketing Technology) servers, integrations with various exchanges, performance tuning, and adding new features as per business requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the C-level staff, business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define the next-generation customer data management and marketing software.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design & development of high-performance servers.
Deliver highly scalable and reliable JavaScript code.
Develop code to integrate with several big data systems, analytics, and various 3rd party services.
Work with the product team to understand business requirements, and scope the development efforts.
Tune the performance of servers.
Perform code and design reviews with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
BE in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent. In lieu of this, a strong showing in HackerRank / CodeSignal, etc. can be considered.
Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Highly fluent in programming, especially in JavaScript including ES6.
Excellent understanding of HTTP & other web & networking technologies.
Good understanding of SQL & no-SQL databases. Experience with ElasticSearch is a plus.
2+ years of experience in building and maintaining high-performance server systems using Node.js. Experience with Nest JS a plus.
Strong skills around developing RESTful APIs.
Expertise in troubleshooting production issues.
Comfortable working across a wide array of technologies, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and writing skills to effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams.
Experience with Display, Mobile, and Video advertising is a plus.
