Backend Engineer - RTB
Location: Chennai

The products developed by C1X are state of the art in the field of advertising. These products are powered by efficient, high performance servers that are built in-house.
As an RTB engineer, you will be responsible for the development of our RTB servers, integrations with various exchanges, performance tuning and adding new features as per business requirements.
Responsibilities
Deliver highly scalable and reliable Java code.
Develop code to integrate with various exchanges using OpenRTB/other protocols.
Work with the product team to understand business requirements, and scope the development efforts.
Tune the performance of RTB servers.
Perform code and design reviews with the team to ensure high quality deliverables.
Qualifications
BE and/or MS in Computer Science and Engineering.
Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
3-5 years experience in digital display advertising industry. Experience with mobile and video advertising is a plus.
Solid programming experience with Java and J2EE frameworks.
2+ years experience in building and maintaining RTB systems.
Thorough knowledge of OpenRTB protocol.
Experience with web technologies and/or distributed system development.
Experience with Hibernate, NIO a plus.
Experience in analyzing memory leaks, thread starvation, synchronization issues, thread and heap dumps a plus
Understanding of GC policy and tuning an added plus
Experience with server side scripting (Good to have)
