<text>
Financial Automation is a newly formed team within the Revenue Assurance group, sitting at the intersection of engineering, finance, and commercial operations. We build and own the systems that automate critical financial processes - fiscalization (tax reporting), e-invoicing, and other financial flows - directly impacting Bolt's global financial operations and regulatory compliance across markets.
As a Backend Engineer, you'll be a founding member of the team, designing, building and launching backend solutions for a brand-new domain. You'll architect, build, and launch the backend platforms that power Bolt's financial automation - coding mainly in Node.js and TypeScript (don't worry, you don't need to know Node.js beforehand!).
You'll partner closely with Finance, Commerce, and Product stakeholders to translate complex regulatory and operational needs into scalable backend systems and APIs Bolt depends on. Product-oriented thinking is deeply ingrained in our engineering team's approach, so you'll have the chance to shape and lead initiatives end-to-end.
