We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and FastAPI to build scalable, high-performance systems in an AI-driven environment. This role focuses on developing backend services that power intelligent automation solutions, particularly in areas involving Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI systems.

You will be responsible for designing robust APIs, building microservices, and integrating advanced AI capabilities into production-grade applications. The role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a fast-growing, global setup, with the added benefit of relocating to an international office with visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python and FastAPI
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices for high-performance applications
• Integrate LLMs and agentic AI capabilities into backend workflows
• Collaborate with product, AI/ML, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance through best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Contribute to system architecture and backend design decisions
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of services

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5–9 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Solid understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable system design
• Exposure to LLMs, AI systems, or agentic workflows is a strong advantage
• Experience working with cloud-based environments and modern backend stacks
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to relocate for an onsite international role
