What You'll Do

• 
  Design, build, and maintain backend services that power our POS and payments platform
• 
  Develop scalable APIs and systems that handle high-volume, real-time transactions
• 
  Contribute to system architecture and make decisions on technologies and design patterns
• 
  Write clean, maintainable code with strong testing practices (unit, integration, performance)
• 
  Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• 
  Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
• 
  Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features end-to-end

What We're Looking For

• 
  5+ years of experience in backend software development
• 
  Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Go, or Python)
• 
  Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend systems
• 
  Solid understanding of databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
• 
  Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• 
  Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
• 
  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
• 
  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
