Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), and FastAPI to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, developing APIs, and collaborating closely with frontend-developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Django, DRF, and FastAPI
• Build and consume RESTful APIs
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and external services
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers
• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–4 years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Experience building APIs using FastAPI
• Solid understanding of RESTful architecture
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Knowledge of ORM concepts
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Ability to write unit and integration tests
Nice to Have
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or background task processing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to micro services architecture
