Backend Developer (Jakarta EE / Quarkus) Fully Remote (Germany)

We're supporting a health tech company that's reimagining how therapy practices runthink clean code, clear values, and critical impact. Theyre now looking for a Backend Developer to help evolve their backend systems, architecture, and deliveryall from wherever you work best in Germany.

What youll do:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Jakarta EE and Quarkus

• Develop new product features and shape architectural decisions

• Ensure secure, clean code and backend scalability

• Work in a stable Scrum team alongside frontend, QA, and product colleagues

• Be part of a pragmatic, performance-oriented dev culture

What youll need:

• 3+ years of Java backend development experience

• Hands-on with Jakarta EE and Quarkus

• Understanding of clean code and backend security standards

• Agile (Scrum) mindset and collaborative working style

• Fluent German (C1)

Nice to have:

• REST API and microservices experience

• Exposure to CI/CD or DevOps practices
