What will you do?

  • Build and scale the backend systems behind EV charging at global scale - services handling hundreds of millions of events across 160,000+ chargers.
  • Enhance core platform capabilities in areas like Billing, CRM, and charging transaction processing.
  • Tackle real distributed-systems challenges: multi-tenant isolation, high-throughput event processing, and the performance demands of a live charging network.

Requirements

What should you have?

  • Experienced Backend Developer.
  • Proven Java/Kotlin experience with Spring Boot framework.
  • Proven experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Proven experience in SaaS multitenant high throughput systems.
  • Proven experience with a Relational Databases (MySQL/Postgres, etc.)
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Solid grasp of the fundamentals that matter at scale - concurrency, data consistency, resilience, and observability in distributed systems.
  • Team player with extensive experience working in teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and agentic coding tools.

Advantages:

  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB, etc.)
  • Proficient in advanced SQL.
  • Familiarity with a public Cloud provider (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • Experience with reactive / non-blocking systems (Kotlin coroutines, Project Reactor, WebFlux, Vertx).
  • Experience with Event driven architecture.
  • Expereince with Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, etc.)
