The Division

RazorSyncSimplify scheduling, dispatching, and invoicing across any device, with our powerfulfieldservice management software. With our comprehensivefeatureswe help your field service business maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

The Position

The Back Engineer is primarily responsible for providing development, enhancement,troubleshootingand maintenance of the current web portal, and the development of new features to the web portal. The ideal candidate has the desire to learn new things, trynew technology, and seek opportunities to grow and mentor. The position requires developing high-quality software with React JS and the .NET framework, and .NET, meeting functional requirements and the architectural direction of the senior team.

The chosen individuals will work out of the Contour Software Lahore/Islamabad
 resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Developing new features using .NET and enhancing existing using .NET framework

• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

• Optimizingcomponents for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

• Write clean, scalable, and secure code

• Author unit tests, ensuring acceptable code coverage

• Revise, update, and refactor existing code

• Work with QA team and other engineers in debugging issues in existing systems

• Participate in requirements analysis

• Develop software documentation for developed source code

• Aid in technical support of production systems

• Triaging production AWS based windows instances when the need arises

Required Skills:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• 4+ years .NET/C# development

• 4+ years SQL Server development

• 2+ years AWS experience

• Understanding and use of DevOps as part of the development process

• Experience working for a SaaS based company developing a cloud-based solution, a plus

Nice to Have

• 1+ years React JS development - thorough understanding of React and its core principles

• 5+ years web development
