We are seeking a professional Backend & AWS Senior Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and cloud-based architectures to join a globally distributed team. This role requires a highly autonomous engineer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, works effectively with minimal oversight, and adapts quickly to evolving priorities.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js and Express, managing AWS infrastructure, and implementing modern DevOps practices. The role also requires hands-on experience with AI-powered coding tools and code generation workflows to enhance development efficiency.
You will contribute to cloud architecture decisions, CI/CD automation, LLM integrations, and infrastructure optimization while ensuring secure, production-ready systems.
5–10 years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in
JavaScript, Node.js, and Express
.
Solid experience with
MongoDB
(schema design and performance tuning).
Proven mastery of
AI-assisted coding tools
(Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
Experience working with
AWS
(Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, SES, Terraform).
Experience integrating
LLMs
using JavaScript or Python (e.g., LangChain).
Familiarity with agentic workflows and AI-driven automation.
Strong DevOps knowledge (Linux, nginx, Git, CI/CD).
Experience building and maintaining
GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across time zones.
