Back of House Supervisor Location: Greater Kruger Area, Limpopo Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented hospitality professional who thrives behind the scenes? A charming, intimate eco-lodge nestled in the Greater Kruger area is seeking an experienced Back of House (BOH) Supervisor to oversee and streamline our internal operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily lodge logistics, ensuring that everything from housekeeping standards to stock control runs seamlessly to deliver a flawless experience for our safari guests. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping & Laundry Supervision: Oversee the housekeeping team to maintain immaculate standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest chalets and communal lodge areas. Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock levels for food and beverage, cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities. Conduct regular stock takes and manage supplier orders/deliveries. Kitchen & BOH Coordination: Work closely with the lodge chefs and kitchen staff to ensure hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and waste management systems are strictly followed. Maintenance Reporting: Monitor the physical condition of back-of-house areas and equipment, logging and tracking maintenance issues promptly. Staff Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and motivate the BOH team, fostering a positive, hardworking, and collaborative environment. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a BOH supervisory or management role within a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or guesthouse environment. Skills: Strong organizational, logistical, and administrative skills. Basic computer literacy (MS Office) for stock tracking and ordering is essential. Leadership: Proven ability to manage, train, and lead a diverse, close-knit team. Traits: Exceptional eye for detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a resilient, hands-on work ethic suited for remote bush living. Logistics: Valid driver’s license is highly advantageous. Must be comfortable living and working in a quiet nature reserve environment. Benefits What We Offer Competitive salary of R10,000 to R15,000 per month.
