Pizza Cooks • Prep Cooks • Dishwashers
At Steel City Pizza Company, we believe the strongest kitchens are built by people who already care — they don’t need to be convinced of their importance.
If you take pride in your work, show up ready to contribute, and understand that consistency matters, you’re probably who we’re looking for. We can teach recipes, systems, and stations. We can’t teach care, reliability, or pride.
This role is for people who understand that everything guests experience starts in the kitchen — long before food reaches
the table.
** OPEN INTERVIEWS MON-THU 2:00PM - 4:00PM **
You understand that your work affects everyone else. You care about doing things right, even when it’s busy and no one is watching.
You stay organized, move with purpose, and communicate clearly with your teammates. You value teamwork because you know great kitchens only work when everyone supports each other.
You don’t wait to be told what needs attention.
You see it — and you handle it.
We value people who act like owners, not renters — who respect the craft, the team, and the work itself.
Reliability, consistency, and pride are not optional here. They are the foundation of great kitchens.
A professional kitchen where standards matter. Leadership that respects effort and initiative. A team that understands the importance of the work happening behind the scenes.
If you already believe great food and great service begin in the kitchen, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do
Depending on your role, you will:
You’ll follow food safety procedures, reduce waste, and uphold Steel City Pizza Company standards at all times.

Steel City Pizza Company was born in the ‘Burgh and raised in the South—a
mix of northern grit and Southern hospitality. We started as Giuseppi’s Pizza &
Pasta in Mt. Pleasant in 2005. We had a simple goal: bring that neighborhood
pizza-shop feel we grew up with down here to Charleston. In 2012 we opened
in N. Charleston and became Steel City Pizza Company. Our name honors
our roots and the people who inspired us: the ones who built America with
their hands, their hustle, and their heart. In 2019 we opened in Summerville,
carrying that same spirit forward.
Still locally owned, still built from scratch, and we’re not done yet—more
locations are on the horizon, and we’re just getting warmed up. We do things
the Steel City way—fresh dough made daily, big flavors, and a passion for
creating great experiences around delicious food. Because around here, we
don’t just make pizza—we build it.
