Job Description
Moxies is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is organized, driven, and committed to delivering exceptional food quality in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific kitchen station, support junior team members, and ensure all dishes meet Moxies standards for presentation, consistency, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and execute menu items according to Moxies recipes and standards
• Manage and maintain a designated kitchen station efficiently during service
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently met
• Assist with prep, inventory management, and stock rotation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Support training and mentoring of line cooks and junior kitchen staff
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during service
• Assist Sous Chefs and Executive Chefs with daily operations and special events
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary diploma or formal training is considered an asset
