About the role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer who enjoys working with modern cloud technologies and microservice-based architectures. You will work at the technical forefront, developing cutting-edge backend services for connected vehicle solutions.

Together with your team, you will take ownership of your services throughout their entire lifecycle, from implementation to production support, while contributing to reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers.

Here's what you'll focus on

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend services.

  • Own services throughout the end-to-end lifecycle, from implementation to production support.

  • Ensure service quality, reliability, and performance while meeting SLA targets.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production services.

  • Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver customer value.

  • Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Additional Required Competencies

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Experience with Java.

  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.

  • Experience with DevOps.

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.

  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Beneficial Competence

  • Git

  • OpenAPI / Swagger

  • Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and JPA

  • Docker and Kubernetes

  • Maven

  • Linux and Shell scripting

  • Python

  • Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.)
