About the role: they are looking for a Back-End Developer to join their growing engineering team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems today and is excited to evolve them toward AI-powered automation and intelligent services in the future.
You will work on the backend foundations of their platform, including APIs, data storage, MLrelated services, and cloud-native applications, while gradually contributing to the development of AI-driven features and agent-based automation as the platform evolves.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
  
• Build and consume RESTful APIs used across the platform
  
• Develop backend services that support data processing, analytics, and ML workflows
  
• Design and work with both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
  
• Build containerized applications using Docker and deploy them in Kubernetes environments
  
• Develop and operate applications running in the Azure Cloud
  
• Collaborate on MLOps-related backend components, including model serving and supporting ML pipelines
  
• Gradually contribute to backend systems, enabling automation and AI-driven workflows
  
• Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and observability of backend systems
  
• Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience developing and maintaining backend services and APIs
  
• Solid proficiency in Python
  
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
  
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
  
• Experience working with Kubernetes
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  
• Understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and distributed systems
  
• Strong sense of ownership and good communication skills

Nice to Have

• Bachelorʼs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with MLOps or backend services supporting ML models
• Experience building observable and monitorized systems using OpenTelemetry or similar tools
• Familiarity with OAuth authentication and authorization flows
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python backend frameworks
• Interest or experience in backend systems for AI-driven automation or agent-based workflows
• Background in IoT, data-intensive platforms, or analytics systems
