Back-end Developer | Crown Heights, NY · $100,000–$140,000

About the Role A well-established organization is looking for a mid-level Back-end Developer to join their in-house team in a role that's equal parts technical and strategic. You'll spend the majority of your time in the code, while also playing a key part in translating business requirements into structured, actionable development work. Key Responsibilities

Development

• Contribute hands-on development across the full stack (approximately 60% of the role)
• Work within a C# / .NET, SQL Server, and Angular environment
• Review and validate work delivered by offshore developers to ensure quality and completeness

Analysis & Coordination

• Translate non-technical business requirements (e.g. from Confluence documents) into clearly defined development tasks
• Identify backend/frontend split, define acceptance criteria, and prepare well-structured Jira tickets
• Catch missing pieces early and help maintain delivery quality across the team

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Tech Lead to improve delivery efficiency across in-house and offshore teams
• Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with C# and SQL
• Solid full-stack development experience with an understanding of system flows and dependencies
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with both business and technical audiences
