ArianeGroup GmbH in Lampoldshausen is looking for a Bachelor-/ Masterthesis in the field of - In situ calibration of LF and HF electrical measurement (m/f/d) for the department JLOM7 – EP Integration & Test.
What we offer you:
Your main tasks and activities:
Ground support equipments (GSE) for electrical satellite thruster hot firing tests need to be calibrated for example by comparison of measurement values within the complete measurement chain and range with a calibrated instrument of better measurement accuracy. This can be done by dismounting of the GSE instruments and sending them into an external calibration lab, but this is time consuming and has the disadvantage that the measurement chain and test environment is different in both cases so the calibration results are likely less significant. Within the frame of the thesis, an automated calibration process for all electrical measurements (voltages, currents, frequencies) shall be elaborated that shall be used to calibrate the GSE instruments without dismounting them.
