About the position
Council’s Community Services and Support Department is looking for casual facilitators of the Baby Makes 3 program.
Baby Makes 3 is a group program for first-time parents that promotes equal and respectful relationships between men and women during the transition to parenthood. This program forms part of Frankston City Council’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service’s First-Time Parent Group program.
Baby Makes 3 is a series of two, 2.5 - 3 hour evening sessions co-facilitated by a pair of male and female facilitators. Facilitators deliver program content and guide group discussions and activities, supporting participants to explore and reflect on their experiences in a collaborative learning environment. The program's strength lies in its group-based approach, enabling participants to recognise common experiences and challenges during the transition to parenthood.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake Baby Makes 3 Facilitator training, which will be provided via Frankston City Council and accredited by healthAbility. Training and facilitator competency accreditation must be achieved prior to any group facilitation.

This is a casual role working varying hours per week; shifts will be 3 hours per day on various weekday evenings (6:00pm to 9:00pm).
This position is a Band 5A currently remunerated at $52.23 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual leave loading), plus superannuation and penalties where applicable in accordance with the current Frankston City Council Enterprise Agreement.
