Join us as an “IB Chief of Staff Office – Client Engagement & IB Support” at Investment Bank. The team provides comprehensive financial advisory, capital raising, financing and risk management services to corporations, governments and financial institutions worldwide. We take an integrated approach to client coverage, providing our clients with access to bankers who have industry and geography specific expertise across all investment banking products.
To be a successful " IB Chief of Staff Office – Client Engagement & IB Support" - the candidate must provide support to management team on day to day running of the strategic projects, priorities, the strategy and their office.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as strategic thinking, project management, strong investment banking acumen, executive-level communication, operational expertise, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
IB Office Support:
Provide direct administrative and strategic support to senior executives.
Maintain IB annual planner and QUAD trackers to understand phasing of key priorities throughout the year.
Coordinate with other Chief of Staff teams on interlocking announcements; results, IB townhalls, investor days etc.
Assist in coordinating the senior leadership team, including meeting preparation, agenda development, and follow-up on action items.
Assist in tracking key performance / scorecard metrics and preparing reports for leadership.
Support ad hoc projects and analysis to come to conclusions on ‘tough’ questions leadership ask.
Client Engagement:
Utilizing tools like Eagle One and Analytics One to prioritize meetings and opportunities based on data, shaping client strategy accordingly.
Design KPIs to measure effectiveness / ROI of client engagement activities.
Assist in the preparation of client briefing memos ahead of client events and 1:1 meeting.
Update client game plans and track follow ups to ensure all commitments to clients are met and relationships maintained.
Implement standardized framework for post meeting action tracking.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Strong excel, VBA or Macro knowledge would be a plus.
Solid PowerPoint building skills (including think cell), able to design a narrative / story.
Extremely organised and able to work in a constantly changing / dynamic environment.
Self-starter, able to use systems to gather information and produce a starting point to build upon.
Speaks with clarity and presents a balanced view.
Escalates risks quickly and not shy to bring issues to the forefront.
This role will be based out of NKP in Mumbai.
