We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Business Analyst / Product Manager with over 10 years of experience in Core Banking and Payments, specializing in Finastra Payments solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain expertise across domestic and cross-border payment processing, payment modernization initiatives, ISO 20022 migration, and end-to-end product lifecycle management. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and customer-centric payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis, product definition, and functional solutioning for Finastra Payments implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the bridge between business, operations, architecture, development, testing, and implementation teams.
• Drive payment modernization initiatives including migration to ISO 20022 and real-time payment capabilities.
• Define product roadmap, feature prioritization, and release planning aligned with business strategy.
• Perform gap analysis between current and target payment operating models.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performing payment solutions.
• Support integration with Core Banking systems, channels, SWIFT, clearing networks, AML/Fraud systems, and General Ledger.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and market requirements across domestic and international payment schemes.
• Support SIT, UAT, production validation, defect triage, and business sign-off.
• Provide production support, impact assessment, change management, and stakeholder communications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Banking and Payments experience.
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of Finastra Payments
• Hands-on experience in payment message standards:
• ISO 20022
• SWIFT MT/MX
• XML
• APIs
• Knowledge of payment schemes such as:
• SWIFT
• SEPA
• Faster Payments
• CHAPS
• Fedwire
• RTP
• ACH
• NEFT/RTGS/IMPS (where applicable)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead workshops, solution discussions, and customer demonstrations.
• Experience working with geographically distributed delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
• Certifications in Agile (CSPO/PSPO/SAFe Product Owner), CBAP, or Payments are desirable.
• Experience with cloud-native payment transformation initiatives is an added advantage.
