Business Analyst – Credit Risk Modelling (BFSI)
Locations: Pune / Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore
Key Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis / IT Analysis
- Strong experience in Banking and Credit Risk domain (exposures, collateral, guarantees, reconciliations, accounting, risk models)
- Good understanding of credit risk regulations and compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and data models
- Strong expertise in data analysis, data profiling using SQL (SAS/Python is an added advantage)
- Experience handling large datasets and complex data environments
- Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Convert requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs
- Perform data analysis, validation, and impact assessment
- Support unit testing (UT), system testing (ST), and UAT cycles
- Create and validate functional test cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery of solutions
- Work effectively in agile teams and adapt quickly to regulatory and business changes
Preferred:
- Experience working with banks or financial services organizations
- Knowledge of accounting data and financial reporting
- Certifications in Credit Risk or related domains
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments
