We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to join our growing Business Banking
Technology team, supporting both strategic transformation initiatives and the
development of new Business Banking propositions.
Successful candidates will combine strong core Business Analysis capability with
Business Banking domain expertise, operating within Agile delivery teams to define,
refine and deliver high quality solutions that create value for customers and the
organisation.
The role requires individuals who can confidently engage
stakeholders, facilitate workshops, break down complex business problems, manage
requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle, and work effectively with Product
Owners, Engineers, Architects, Testers and Operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
 Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional
requirements.
 Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
 Create and maintain user stories, epics, processes, data requirements and
acceptance criteria.
 Ensure requirements are clear, testable and aligned to business objectives.
 Support solution design through collaboration with Architecture, Engineering and
Product teams.
 Perform impact analysis across systems, processes, data and operating models.
 Support testing activities including SIT, UAT and defect triage.

Agile Delivery

 Operate as an embedded member of Agile squads.
 Work closely with Product Owners to shape and prioritise backlogs.
 Lead refinement sessions and ensure stories meet Definition of Ready
standards.
 Decompose large business outcomes into manageable epics, features and
stories.
 Contribute to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
 Manage requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement
 Build strong relationships across Business, Operations and Technology teams.
 Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
 Influence decisions through evidence-based analysis.
 Facilitate consensus between competing stakeholder priorities.
Process & Data Analysis
 Analyse existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
 Create process maps, workflow models and customer journeys.
 Support operating model design and process optimisation.
 Analyse business and customer data to inform recommendations.

Essential Skills & Experience
Business Analysis
 Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services or Banking.
 Strong requirements elicitation and management capability.
 Experience creating:
o User stories
o Acceptance criteria
o Process maps
o Business requirements documentation

o Functional specifications
 Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
 Experience conducting impact assessments and gap analysis.
 Ability to work independently on complex change initiatives.
Agile Delivery
 Experience working within Agile squads using Scrum and/or SAFe.
 Strong backlog management and refinement experience.
 Demonstrable ability to break down complex requirements into deliverable
increments.
 Experience working closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams.
 Good understanding of Agile delivery practices and ceremonies.
Communication
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
 Strong negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
 Comfortable managing senior stakeholders.
