Job Title: Project Cost Controller - CMA candidates preferred

Experience: 2-4 years

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project cost control systems, processes, and procedures.

• Track and monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.

• Prepare detailed cost reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for management.

• Work closely with project managers to identify potential cost overruns and propose corrective actions.

• Support in preparing project cash flow projections and financial planning.

• Ensure accurate cost coding, allocation, and reporting in compliance with company standards.

• Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams to monitor supplier costs and contractual obligations.

• Assist in change management processes by evaluating the cost impact of scope changes.

• Support audits and compliance requirements related to project financials.

• Provide input into risk assessments and mitigation plans from a cost perspective.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA, CCP, PMI-SP) are a plus.

• 2–4 years of experience in cost control, project controls, or financial analysis.

• Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and project management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Primavera, MS Project).

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
