African Safari Group (ASG) is a leading luxury travel company specialising in bespoke African safari experiences. We create highly personalised journeys for international travellers who value exceptional service, expert destination knowledge and unforgettable experiences.

As ASG continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced B2C Luxury Travel Consultant – Sabi Sands Specialist to join our team.

This is specifically a Sabi Sands Specialist position. Professional Sabi Sands safari experience is an essential requirement.

You will work directly with international clients from their initial enquiry through to booking and post-trip follow-up. Using your specialist knowledge of the Sabi Sands, you will design and sell tailor-made luxury safari experiences that match each client's expectations, travel style and budget.

This is a sales-focused, direct-to-client role. You will consult with clients, design itineraries, prepare quotations, handle objections, identify opportunities to upsell and close high-value bookings.

You should have a strong understanding of the Sabi Sands safari offering, including its different areas, lodge styles, wildlife experiences, safari activities and what differentiates individual properties.

Key responsibilities include

• Consult directly with clients to understand their travel requirements, preferences, expectations and budget.
• Design and sell tailor-made luxury Sabi Sands safari itineraries.
• Provide expert advice on Sabi Sands lodges, wildlife, safari experiences and logistics.
• Match clients with the most suitable properties and experiences.
• Manage the client journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking and post-trip follow-up.
• Prepare and present detailed itineraries and quotations.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with international clients.
• Confidently handle questions, objections and changes throughout the sales process.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and enhance client itineraries.
• Maintain current knowledge of Sabi Sands properties and experiences.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year's proven experience in direct B2C sales to clients.
• Professional Sabi Sands safari or luxury safari sales experience is essential.
• Strong practical knowledge of the Sabi Sands.
• Experience selling luxury safari or African travel.
• Proven ability to consult, upsell and close high-value bookings.
• Strong knowledge of Sabi Sands lodges, safari experiences and logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client relationship-building and sales skills.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Genuine passion for safari, wildlife and African travel.

Candidates without professional Sabi Sands experience and at least 1 year of direct B2C sales experience will not be considered.
