As a B2B Product and Activations Lead at Nestlé Nespresso, you will be responsible for B2B product portfolio responsibility (coffee, machines, accessories, services (co-managed with Operations and Commercial), by translating and implementing global launches & themes (IAP) to market and specific channel needs. Work together with the Head of Marketing and other company Function peers - in particular B2B Commercial - to guarantee the feeding/support of the projects under his responsibility and respective timely and quality execution.

Developing and implementing strategic events, sponsorships, and partnerships aligned with the B2B Marketing Strategy. Your main objective will be to build brand awareness and leverage the Nespresso brand in the Out-of-Home (OOH) market, specifically in the HORECA and Office sectors. You will work closely with the B2B Marketing Manager and other teams to execute marketing and commercial activities, providing brand guidance and ensuring brand alignment.

A day in the life of a B2B Product and Activations Lead

  • Localize and implement the product strategy and commercial value proposition (incl. new products/services)
  • Manage the portfolio of the attributed categories (coffee, machines, accessories and services)
  • Review portfolio performance continuously to understand and lead possible optimizations, e.g. promotion, pricing, portfolio rationalization, competitive monitor and impact with support from data & insights
  • Lead deep dives on market, trends and competitive development for coffee, machines, accessories and services to fuel the local product strategy and marketing plan, in collaboration with Data & Insights responsible
  • Is accountable for the Product Forecast accuracy, together with the CE&I and Operations/SC team
  • Develop and implement the B2B events and activation calendar, focusing on Offices and HORECA platforms.
  • Drive local recycling projects and leverage local sponsorships/events to promote B2B activities and events.
  • Ensure the quality of all communication materials for Nespresso events, from invitations to banners and backdrops.
  • Implement global product launches and themes according to the local B2B strategy and channel specifics.
  • Support continuous improvement by conducting pre- and post-evaluations of product launches and themes.
  • Collaborate with external B2B agencies, such as events, activation, communication, gastronomy, media, and hospitality.
  • Implement the gastronomy platform and establish partnerships with renowned Chefs to enhance brand positioning.
  • Evaluate and respond to incoming proposals and event opportunities, optimizing Nespresso's positioning.
  • Execute lead generation activities, including direct mail campaigns, CRM, conferences, and events.
  • Manage budgets for sponsoring and events, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve specific business goals.

What will make you successful

  • Completed University Degree in Business Management or Marketing Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a Sponsoring and Events area
  • Previous experience in B2B or similar position within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in event operation, production, and activation
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills
  • Familiarity with brand and consumer communication
  • Financial knowledge for budget management.
  • Customer-centric mindset and a focus on building strong relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to eventualities and unexpected situations.
