Job Description

We are a payment-processing company providing businesses with payment technology, POS systems, and solutions designed to support their growth. We work with merchants across different industries and provide interns with hands-on experience in B2B client relations, sales, business development, and account management.

We are seeking motivated NYC-based B2B Client Relations Interns who are interested in building professional relationships with business owners while developing practical communication, customer service, and business skills.

💰 Compensation — Commission Only

This is a 100% COMMISSION-ONLY internship. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

Earn $200 commission for every successfully closed account.

Commission is uncapped, allowing interns to earn based on their performance and successful client acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with B2B clients.
• Connect with business owners and key decision-makers throughout NYC.
• Develop relationships with prospective clients through outreach and in-person interactions.
• Understand each client's business needs and help identify appropriate payment and POS solutions.
• Assist with client onboarding and ongoing account relationships.
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients.
• Respond professionally to client questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate client, lead, and follow-up information.
• Coordinate with internal sales and support teams to assist clients.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and generate referrals.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and field activities.
• Develop practical experience in B2B relationship management, customer retention, sales, and business development.

Qualifications

• Must be NYC-based and available for in-person client and field activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Professional and confident when communicating with business owners.
• Customer-service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, CRM platforms, or similar business tools is a plus.
• Interest in client relations, account management, B2B sales, marketing, or business development.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
