Job Description

Synopsis

• Perform aircraft maintenance activities, tasks, rectify defects, and support Licensed Aircraft Engineer and as per operational requirements to ensure safety of flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
• Ensure maximum attention is given to on-time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling, and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance for the task in hand.
• Maintains a FOD free working area and cleans up bay area before and after work.
• Ensure daily maintenance activities are properly & progressively recorded & signed off.
• Ensure full compliance with all organizational Health and Safety Rules & procedures.
• Ensure support and participation for open reporting culture that aligns with the company ethos.
• Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
• Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labelled if defective.
• Ensure Continues personal development and increases Aircraft knowledge with goal for further career development.

Education & Experience

• High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma
• Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization.
• 3 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in Avionics/IFE
