While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; twist; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
The employee must operate fork truck approximately 90% of the day, recharge fork truck when necessary; drive the fork truck outside when necessary and drive the MAHLE box truck as needed.
OVERTIME
Employees must be able to work additional hours at the end of the shift, additional days during the payroll week, and weekends which can and will be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week. Working overtime is a condition of employment.
