Job Description

A B Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining wells and production facilities, monitoring equipment performance, and troubleshooting issues to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily production rounds on wells and facilities
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates
• Adjust valves and equipment to maintain production levels
• Troubleshoot equipment issues such as pumps, separators, or compressors
• Conduct well tests and production measurements
• Monitor tank levels and perform tank gauging
• Assist with startup/shutdown of wells and facilities
• Perform basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Complete production reports and log readings
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of oil & gas production or lease operator experience

• Ability to work independently in the field

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude

• Experience with production equipment and well operations

• Good understanding of safety practices and procedures

• Flexible schedule and willingness to be on call

• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, fit for duty and agility.
