Job Description

seeking two experienced *Solution Architects with strong Microsoft Azure and Artificial Intelligence expertise* to support strategic initiatives within the Medicaid architecture organization. The architects will design secure, scalable, and cloud-native solutions while partnering with business, engineering, data, security, and enterprise architecture teams.

The ideal candidate will combine strong solution architecture experience with hands-on knowledge of Azure cloud services, modern application and data architectures, AI/GenAI capabilities, and healthcare technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Medicaid business and technology initiatives.

* Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions using Microsoft Azure.

* Define architecture for cloud-native applications, APIs, data platforms, integrations, AI, and GenAI capabilities.

* Translate business and functional requirements into solution architecture, technical designs, and implementation roadmaps.

* Develop architecture diagrams, integration patterns, data flows, security models, and deployment strategies.

* Evaluate and recommend Azure services, AI frameworks, technology products, and reusable architecture patterns.

* Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams throughout design, development, testing, and deployment.

* Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and cloud governance.

* Partner with business, product, engineering, data, infrastructure, and security stakeholders.

* Conduct architecture reviews, identify technical risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

* Support modernization of legacy systems and integration with enterprise healthcare platforms.

* Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent Medicaid initiatives.

Required Qualifications

* 10+ years of overall IT experience, including significant experience in solution or enterprise architecture.

* Strong hands-on architecture experience with Microsoft Azure.

* Experience designing cloud-native, distributed, and enterprise-scale solutions.

* Strong understanding of Azure services such as:

* Azure App Service, Functions and AKS

* Azure API Management

* Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse

* Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Data Lake

* Azure Service Bus and Event Hubs

* Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault and Azure Monitor

* Experience designing and integrating AI, machine learning, GenAI, or intelligent automation solutions.

* Understanding of Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, RAG, vector search, and responsible AI concepts.

* Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture and system integration patterns.

* Experience with application, data, security, integration, and infrastructure architecture.

* Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring and cloud governance.

* Strong stakeholder-management, communication and architecture-presentation skills
