Azure Platform Engineer (Networking, AKS & Terraform Expert)

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Terraform to design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade Azure cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure engineering, complex networking architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platform operations within enterprise or banking environments. This role requires strong technical capabilities along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Platform Infrastructure Engineering

• 
  Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale Azure landing zones aligned with governance, security, and compliance standards
• 
  Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated, scalable, and repeatable deployments
• 
  Build, configure, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• 
  Support and maintain Azure PaaS services including:
  • 
    Azure App Services
  • 
    Azure SQL
  • 
    Azure Storage
  • 
    Azure Key Vault
  • 
    Azure Service Bus
  • 
    Azure Event Hub
  • 
    Azure Monitor
• 
  Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes
• 
  Ensure platform reliability, resiliency, and disaster recovery readiness

Complex Azure Networking (Core Focus Area)

• 
  Architect and implement advanced Azure networking solutions including:

    Hub-and-spoke architecture
  • 
    Virtual WAN architecture
  • 
    VNET peering
  • 
    Private Endpoints
  • 
    Service Endpoints
  • 
    Azure Firewall
  • 
    Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • 
    User Defined Routes (UDRs)

    Azure Application Gateway

    Azure Load Balancers

  Design and manage hybrid connectivity solutions using:

  Implement secure private networking patterns for AKS and Azure PaaS integrations

  Work closely with security and network teams to ensure compliance with enterprise and banking security standards

  Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues across cloud environments

Monitoring, Reliability & Operations

  Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using:

    Azure Monitor

    Log Analytics

  Create custom dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring solutions

  Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps best practices

  Support production environments and participate in:

  Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance optimization

Cost Optimization & Governance

  Drive Azure FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives including:

    Cost visibility and reporting
• 
  Build Azure Cost Management dashboards and reports

  Implement governance controls using:

Collaboration & Communication

  Act as a technical advisor to application, infrastructure, and data teams
