Job Description


As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will:

  • Design and implement cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.

  • Build event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid and related Azure services.

  • Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Container Apps.

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

  • Ensure production systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available.

  • Monitor platform performance, optimize cost, availability, and resilience.

  • Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver cloud platform capabilities.

  • Implement governance, compliance, and cloud security best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.

  • Expertise in Azure Event Grid, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Container Apps.

  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

  • Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture.

  • Experience with Docker containerization and API management.

  • Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

  • Solid understanding of high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and cloud security.

  • Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, distributed systems, or enterprise cloud migration is an added advantage.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions.

  • Build and manage event-driven architectures.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.

  • Optimize platform performance, cost, and operational efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot complex cloud and containerized environments.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

  • Apply DevOps, automation, and cloud governance best practices.

  • Support modernization initiatives and cloud transformation projects.
