Job Description


As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will:

  • Design, build, and operate enterprise-scale Azure landing zones aligned with security, compliance, and governance standards.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, scalable, and auditable deployments.

  • Build, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

  • Architect and implement complex Azure networking solutions including hub-and-spoke, Virtual WAN, VNet peering, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway).

  • Configure and manage Azure networking components such as Azure Firewall, NSGs, UDRs, Application Gateway, and Load Balancers.

  • Ensure secure integration of AKS and PaaS services using private networking patterns.

  • Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

  • Drive platform reliability, resilience, and operational excellence with an SRE/DevOps mindset.

  • Support production environments, including incident, problem, and change management.

  • Lead cost optimization (FinOps) initiatives including rightsizing, autoscaling, and cost visibility.

  • Implement governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, tagging strategies, and budget controls.

  • Collaborate with application, security, and architecture teams, and contribute to design documentation and runbooks.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Azure Networking (hub-spoke architecture, private endpoints, hybrid connectivity).

  • Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (design, deployment, operations, and security).

  • Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

  • Experience working with Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, and Event Hub.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance, preferably in banking or large enterprise environments.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

  • Exposure to DevOps/SRE practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms.

  • Solve complex networking and infrastructure challenges in Azure environments.

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams including security, architecture, and development.

  • Proactively identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and cost inefficiencies.

  • Handle production support with strong ownership and accountability.

  • Adapt quickly in fast-paced, enterprise-scale environments.
