Job Summary

The Technical Specialist in DevOps Solutions, specializing in Azure DevOps, is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of DevOps processes and solutions using Azure DevOps. The role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to streamline software development and deployment processes, aiming to improve efficiency, quality, and speed in delivering software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement devops strategies utilizing azure devops tools and services.
2. Automate software development, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
3. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and efficient delivery of software products.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and release processes.
5. Implement security measures within the devops pipeline to ensure data protection and compliance.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on devops best practices.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve devops practices to enhance overall system performance and reliability.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in azure devops tools and services.
2. Strong understanding of ci/cd pipelines and their implementation using azure devops.
3. Experience with infrastructure as code (iac) tools like terraform or arm templates.
4. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as docker and kubernetes.
5. Familiarity with scripting languages like powershell, bash, or python.
6. Ability to work in an agile environment and apply agile principles to devops practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Other Requirements

1.Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is preferred.
