Azure DevOps Engineer (Azure Infrastructure & CI/CD)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Experience Required: 4–6 Years
Start Date: August 2026

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and automated Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to support cloud infrastructure and application deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Bicep (ARM-based Infrastructure as Code) with reusable and modular templates.
• 
  Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• 
  Implement Infrastructure as Code lifecycle management, including validation, testing, versioning, and controlled releases.
• 
  Drive DevOps and DevSecOps best practices through automation, version control, and environment standardization.
• 
  Ensure Azure environments are secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant with organizational standards.
• 
  Integrate security, compliance, and quality gates into deployment pipelines.
• 
  Implement monitoring, logging, and operational best practices for production environments.
• 
  Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to continuously improve deployment processes.
• 
  Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, build, and release issues.

Required Skills

• 
  4–6 years of experience in Azure Cloud and DevOps engineering.
• 
  Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• 
  Hands-on expertise with Bicep (ARM templates) for Infrastructure as Code.
• 
  Experience deploying and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• 
  Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies.
• 
  Experience with infrastructure automation, version control, and release management.
• 
  Strong understanding of Azure security, monitoring, logging, and operational best practices.
• 
  Experience working with Azure Data Factory
