We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Platform Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platform solutions on Azure Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
This role requires a strong combination of strategic architecture capability and hands-on engineering expertise. The successful candidate will take ownership of the Databricks platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, automated, and aligned with enterprise cloud architecture standards.
Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks platform engineering and architecture
Deep experience designing enterprise Databricks environments, including:
Workspace architecture
Cluster governance
Jobs and Workflows orchestration
Platform operations and scalability
Advanced knowledge of Unity Catalog governance and security models
Strong Azure security and identity management expertise
Experience with secure cloud networking patterns for enterprise data platforms
Solid Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD experience using Terraform or Bicep
Strong understanding of enterprise cloud governance and operational best practices
Ability to operate independently in consulting or fast-paced delivery environments
