Join a dynamic and forward-thinking IT team as an Azure Cloud Engineer This role offers the opportunity to work on the "Sovereign Cloud Switzerland" platform, operated exclusively within Switzerland, and maintain specific workloads in a regional cloud environment. You'll be actively involved in all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring optimal operation and further development, with a strong focus on automation.
Develop and manage the technical capabilities of the cloud operations team in Switzerland.
Build and maintain the cloud platform, supporting multiple Azure solutions to meet business needs.
Collect and exchange best-practice knowledge among international cloud teams.
Develop and maintain automation solutions to deploy platform and application workloads.
Monitor and manage technical escalations for cloud operations and identify new tools and practices to enhance the cloud platform.
Curious and adaptable to new technologies, with a strong learning mindset and the ability to share knowledge with team members.
Certified Azure Admin Associate (AZ-104) and Azure DevOps Expert (AZ-400); additional certifications in cloud architecture, system administration, or development are advantageous.
Experience with automation and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python, and C#.
In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing Windows and Linux environments; experience with infrastructure components like databases, Active Directory, DNS, firewalls, and networking in Azure and on-premises data centres is a plus.
Familiarity with agile software development tools and methodologies.
